Streaming audio & Visual to remote viewers

Streaming audio visual as well as presentation slides has fast become the new normal which has been normalised since covid and remote working.

Why Stream?

There can be many reasons to choose streaming over an in-person event.

Security preventing all delegates from being in the same place at once.
Geographic restrictions such as being in other countries.
Last minute decisions to hold a meeting not leaving enough time to arrange travel.
Streaming is often much cheaper than travel and accommodation

For our streams we use HD cameras which can be remotely operated, they are broadcast quality and can be moved both pan and tilt as well as zoom. For anybody who has seen GP’s behind closed doors, we use the same cameras.

Benefits of remotely operated cameras means the cameras are less obtrusive, require a smaller stand than a conventional camera operator with tripod. Less crew are needed to operate, one technician can move 3 cameras and switch between offering wide, and different up close positions.

To overcome many companies security policies our HDMI capture units plug into all laptops and are seen as a generic webcam and do not require and drivers or authorisation to use. This enables internal systems to be used and abiding by internal security policies such as MS Teams. Our systems are fully compatible with Zoom and MS Townhall and all operators are familiar with these systems as well as Facebook live and YouTube live.

Streaming can either broadcast to viewers, or integrate with remote presenters as well as having a hybrid meeting which means there are people in person at the presentation. We can relay images to local TV screens as well as show remote presenters to the local audience.
