Over the years we’ve provided for many different shape and size events for charities, local councils and youth organisations. We do not treat these kinds of events any different than a festival, or corporate event.
If anything sometimes these kinds of events provide an even bigger challenge due to the proximity of working with the public with professional equipment so close we provide enhanced health and safety procedures.
Below are some examples of previous kinds of local events
Lighting of the beacons is a nationwide event for a special occasion. We provide PA systems to enable speeches to be heard by the crowds that gather. We play pre-recorded music, or provide microphones for live bands, soloists or choirs.
Harlow Rock School Performance at the bandstand, an event that was well attended and gave the young people opportunity to play on a stage through professional equipment no different than how we would provide for a standard festival. The bands were managed on stage by a stage manager, and had a backline tech to assist tuning and issues. A front of House engineer mixed all vocals and backline for the whole park to hear.
If you’ve been to the water gardens in Harlow you’ll appreciate the size of the upper car park. Now imagine half of it with waves of glowing neon bracelets and a sea of pink! A local charity fun walk with an exercise warmup, live DJ playing all night and an amazing vibe of thousands of people walking routes around Harlow.
What better way to promote the local theatre pantomime, but to dress up a float and enter the procession. The villain creates havoc with the audience, while the float plays the music score to the panto. All while the lead principles are on radio microphones complementing the audience and adding the personal touch to promote! A driving advert!
Light up a life is a time to reflect on loved ones, past and present. Held just before Christmas a celebration featuring spoken word, choirs and prayer is performed in many locations from local charity St Clare Hospice.
Providing entertainment and amplifying choirs and duet groups for passers by of Christmas Markets. Playing pre recorded Christmas music and providing voice over updates of what is happening on the day.
